Greetings
Welcome to the King's County Cinema Society, an organization devoted to the unfettered, unbiased love of film and the moving image.
We are a group of people based in Brooklyn, New York pursuing a lifelong commitment to the appreciation of film, and the promotion of cinema as an art form, regardless of its shape or size.
Our objective is to create a community in which any person with a love for film, whether they be filmmakers, critics, or cinema neophytes, may join and attend weekly screenings in downtown Brooklyn of films selected democratically by the members of the organization.
No film is too obscure, nor too mainstream, and no person is to be judged on their taste, experience, or inexperience. We exist only to propagate film as an art form, and to bring creative, positive people together.
